Creating Audio-Reactive Visuals with TouchDesigner

Join us for an exciting workshop on audio reactive visuals using TouchDesigner (TD), led by professional audio-visual artist and educator, James Gibbons-MacGregor. Whether you're a total beginner or have some TD experience, this workshop will introduce you to the industry-standard software for real-time visuals in musical and artistic practice.

Requirements

Participants should bring:

• their own laptop with TouchDesigner installed (https://derivative.ca/download)
• a mouse with a scroll wheel! It will be very difficult to use just a trackpad due to TouchDesigner's interface
• an audio file to match to your audio-readctive visuals (any audio file will do, but womething with a clear beat/rhythm is the easiest to work with)
• headphones
