collapse creates live-coded music using Tidal Cycles and Ableton, inspired by IDM, dancehall, reggaeton and baile funk.

collapse’s first introduction to Tidal Cycles was through a tutorial by Harry Murdoch (hmurd), delivered for TT in July 2020. Keen to learn more, they followed further tutorials by Alex McLean, and soon began creating their own live-coded music. collapse has since performed at Corsica Studios for fake[dac~] and at Matchstick Piehouse for Crossovers Collective.

collapse also organises London Pattern Club (@londonpatternclub), an interest group at the intersection of crafts and coding. They run a monthly craft group at the Glitch in Waterloo and have a series of workshops planned for 2024.
